Rautakoura – User Instructions
Address: Leipurintie 355, 65800 Raippaluoto
Directions: From the Raippaluoto bridge, follow the main road for 2 km, then turn onto Leipurintie (signpost to the left). The road is closed with a locked gate. The area is located about 4 km along Leipurintie and is visible on the right by the shore.
General Keys for the Area: Currently, general keys for day visitors are not available. The reservation calendar and keys for the area are managed by the caretaker, Keijo Rauhala, at 040 8305084.
Rautakoura Rules:
- The area is accessible to members of section 28, their companions, and family members.
- All users are equal in the area.
- Multiple cottages cannot be rented simultaneously, nor can they be rented to outsiders.
- Always be present when you have guests in the area.
- You cannot give your membership card to others, not even to family members.
- When leaving the area, keys must always be stored in the key box.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash in the area and are not allowed indoors.
- Private reservations cannot be made for the area or other buildings. The union’s board can reserve part or all of the area for various events.
- When staying overnight, bring your own linens and clean up after yourself, especially indoors. If cleaning is neglected, a cleaning fee of 70 euros will be charged. If the cleaning fee is neglected, the right to use the area will be revoked.
- Dispose of waste at the collection points.
- Secure watercraft properly in place.
- If you notice something broken or if you cause damage, report it immediately to the area manager at 040 8305084. Compensation for lost or broken items will be charged according to the board’s decision.
- When leaving, turn off the lights, set the temperature reduction to ON, and lock the doors of the buildings carefully.
- Return the keys immediately to the same place where they were taken.
- Bringing firearms to the area is prohibited.
- Cars or motorhomes cannot be washed by the shore. Bringing your own hot tub to the area is also prohibited.
- Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas.
- The main cottage can accommodate up to 6 people, and the small cottages can accommodate 2 people.
